It’s all about Yew™

Your work, your week and your money. One screen.

Yew HQ is your own private headquarters. Your to-do list, calendar and finances sit together, on your own Mac, in a place that is easy to read at a glance.

Invitations are going to a small group first.

The Yew HQ home screen: today, this week, upcoming meetings, open to-dos and the weather, with a strip of money figures shown as percentages and dates.

What’s inside

Everything you check in a day, already open.

Yew HQ replaces the paper list, the calendar tab, the bank tabs and the spreadsheet. You choose which parts you want, and it opens on the day ahead.

Home

Start the day knowing what is on.

One page with today, the rest of the week, the meetings coming up and everything still on your list.

  • Money shows as percentages and dates here, never dollar amounts, so the front page is safe to leave open.
  • Bills going out today are listed by name.
Home in Yew HQ.
To Do

A week you can see.

Priorities across the top, five days underneath, and everything on your list beside them. Drag a to-do onto a day and it stays on your list too.

  • Work, home and errands in one list, each with its own label.
  • A shopping list you tick off as you go.
  • Work for yourself? Switch it to Projects, with “To invoice” and “Invoiced” lists for jobs that are wrapped.
The To Do screen: a week planner with priorities and five day columns, the full to-do list, and a shopping list.
Calendar

Your calendar, without the noise.

A whole month from Google Calendar on one screen, kept up to date by itself.

  • Read-only. Yew HQ never changes your calendar.
  • Meetings with other people are pulled out onto Home.

Money

Every account, one honest picture.

Banks, cards, investments and loans in one place, for your personal money and your business.

  • Regular bills are found for you, monthly and yearly, with the months that cost more marked.
  • Retirement contributions and estimated taxes tracked against the year.
  • A switch to hide every amount when someone is looking over your shoulder.
The Money screen: net worth over time, things that need attention, and totals for investments, cash and the business.
Agent ready

One place your agents can ask.

Your calendar, to-do list and money already live together in Yew HQ, so it is the one place an assistant needs to look. You keep asking in Claude’s desktop app, the way you already do.

  • It looks the answer up in your HQ, and adds to your list when you ask.
  • Off until you switch it on.
  • It can read your money. It can never change it.
  • Your HQ only answers what the assistant asks for, while you are talking to it.

Go through my subscriptions. Anything I could cut?

You have 16 regular subscriptions, about $486 a month. Three stand out:

Two video services you pay for separately. A design tool that went up $32 in September. A storage plan you also get with another service.

Dropping those would save about $64 a month.

Add “Trim subscriptions” to my list for Friday.

Done. Trim subscriptions is on your list for Friday.

To Do

An example. The conversation happens in Claude. Yew HQ only supplies the answers.

Private by design

Your numbers stay on your Mac.

Yew HQ is an app on your computer, not a website holding your finances. That is the whole idea.

It runs on your Mac

Your accounts, lists and settings are kept on your own computer. There is no Yew HQ account with your data in it.

It can look, never touch

Bank connections are read-only and go through Plaid. You sign in on your bank’s own page, and nothing in Yew HQ can move money.

Nothing to log in to

It opens like any app on your Mac. No password to remember, and no website with your finances on it.

Coming soon

Yew HQ is opening by invitation.

A first small group is getting it before anyone else. If you were sent a code, this is where it goes.
